The web mail reader can be reached by any browser by going to
https://mail.prowebis.net/ Please read this entire document before you begin.
When you log in to SmarterMail for the first time you will receive a pop up wizard that will have several steps one of which is the migration wizard. If the password we have on file for you is not secure enough you will be prompted to update it. The main requirement is that your password doesn't match your email as this is a common mistake that allows hackers to steal your email account.
If you have already logged on to SmarterMail previously you can run the migration wizard at any time by clicking the
Settings icon that runs allong the left side of the screeen. Click the plus sign next to the folder
My Settings if it is not already explanded. Then expand
Advanced Settings in the same way
. Under advanced settings click
Mailbox Migration and you will open the mailbox wizard which described in the next section.
For most peopel the first page you will see is a request to update your time zone. Select your appropriate time zone and click next.
The next page you will see is the first page of the import wizard. You will see a link to "
Begin Mailbox Migration" below the paragraph text. cliick this link. If you are using web mail reader folders the only folder that can be imported is your
Inbox. if you need to import other WEB MAIL folders you must move the mail back to your inbox before migrating. To do this open another browser window and go to the Biznet web mail reader (
http://mail.biznetis.net/webmail) and logon with your old username and password. You can open up any of your folders, select all of the email, and drag it to your inbox. Once this is done you can continue with the migration. You will need to recreate your folders and move the email back once migration is complete. If you have a lot of folders and you prefer to migrate one folder at a time please see the link at the end of this article that gives you suggestions on how to do this.
You will then be prompted to select the "Account Type" Make sure you change this to
IceWarp. Do
NOT select the check box as this will delete any mail that has already arrived in your new mailbox. Once you have changed the Account Type to IceWarp you can click
Next.
You will next receive the option to select what you want to import. In this case you can only import
Email so check the box next to
Email and click
Nect.
On the next screen you are given the option to put in your old mail server settings. Set the mail server to
mail.biznetis.net and use your previous username and password. For some people who used to use
mail.[yourdomain.com] you will still use mail.biznetis.net as they point to the same place. Click
Next once you have completed the configuration.
All you need to do now is click
Start and your email should start being imported.
Moving additional folders for advanced users:
Please read the following article for a recommended approach for moving one folder of email at a time to the new server so that you don't need to resort all of your email into folders. This is for advanced users only.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If while you are migrating these folders one at a time any new email will also be dropped into your inbox so make sure you watch for it and move it to your temporary inbox folder before you move it and forget about it in one of your sub folders.
